FROM IDEA TO FINISHED CATENARY CLAMP

mechanical and electrical connection of parallel running wires
KRUCH spacer clamps are used for the electrical and mechanical connection of parallel running wires. The clamps define the distance between the wires and reduce the pendular motion. The clamps are easy to install in a one tool operation, as it is not necessary to fix the screw while tightening the nut. The range of application varies from tramways up to high-speed lines. Available for wire distances 50mm, 70mm and 80mm.

#KRUCHInsights: A look behind the scenes – How is a new catenary clamp developed?
The connection between aluminium messenger wires and copper jumper wires is very problematic. If an electrically conductive liquid like condensate or general humidity meets a connection of copper and aluminium, an electrochemical reaction forming a contact element....
Our fully automated checkpoint inspects the condition of the carbon brushes and the contact pressure of the current collectors on trolleybuses – every time they pass through – by means of 3D laser scanning and load cells.

The FLH-02.7 is KRUCH’s new standard hanger solution for suspending copper contact wires on aluminum messenger wires, which are frequently used in the United Kingdom.
Over the past few years, our HKL-02 hanger clamp for flexible hangers without thimble has been installed & used by more than 30 international customers in the railway and tram industry. One of the advantages of our HKL-02 is its simple and quick installation.
HKL-02, our hanger clamp without crimping or crimp sleeve, kicked off a real revolution upon its entry onto the market. Even though precisely this initially drew some sceptical looks, HKL-02 has numerous reputable fans today and has been enjoying more and more popularity in recent years.
On the 18th September it is time again. The InnoTrans 2018 starts in a new round. Of course, the KRUCH team is once again a guest at the leading international trade fair for traffic technology this year!
