The InnoTrans2014 was very successful. Read here the exclusive interview with KRUCH CEO, Jan Röhl.
How was this year’s InnoTrans for you? Is the world’s largest trade fair for transport technology really an impulse for your business?
To be at the InnoTrans every second year is really incredible and has an enormous impact on our business!
We meet so many people – good old friends from existing markets as well as new people from future sales areas, all over the world.
We talk about innovation, new products and services, upcoming projects. We convince customers about the benefit of cooperating with us.
It is a lot of fun, really!
But the most important part is to listen… listen to requests, demands, problems that need solutions and services that customers need but no one offers…
We always learn very much in these 4 days.
I think that we could not afford to miss exhibiting at this fair.
Did your expectations fulfil?
Yes, we had very clear goals for this InnoTrans and we are very happy and enthusiastic that we could reach them surprisingly well.
Now we are starting to cooperate with at least 4 new representations in future markets, we have added several big constructing companies to our close contacts, almost all of our customers are informed about our latest product developments and we reached agreements for several test installations.
How is the feedback to your world premiers? And what is your next step?
This year we presented several „world premiers“, and the feedback that we got was extremely positive.
We are happy that our SMA (signal mast with integrated lift) meets the exact needs of our customers: best labour safety and maximum track availability!
Also our revolutionary light-weight catenary mast with height adjustable cantilevers proved to be a refreshing new concept on a product, where the market showed little innovation in recent years.
And even for the often mentioned Mobility 4.0 we have our first products in the starting blocks. A newly developed assortment of contact line sensors will monitor the condition of the contact line network in real time and open completely new possibilities to the infrastructure management. We are working together with our partners on getting these products on the tracks as soon as possible.
